COVID-19 UPDATE 14.04.20

The surgery remains open during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Our normal surgery hours apply but with a reduced staff and changed working procedures.

To be in line with government advice to reduce face to face contact please contact the surgery first by phone or email.

Please phone 01245 352525 but please bear with us if your call is not answered immediately and leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.

Please email to info@elmhousevets.co.uk and if appropriate add photos or videos of any problems.

Whenever possible we will deal with problems on the phone charging a reduced telephone consultation fee.

If you asked to come to the surgery, please stay in the car park and phone us to let us know you have arrived.

Card payments are requested.

From April 14th, the RCVS and BVA have given guidelines to the procedures which can be performed during lockdown to protect animal welfare.

These include:

Veterinary Emergencies

Puppy and Kitten Vaccinations

Year 1 Dog and Cat Booster Vaccinations

Rabbit Vaccinations for Myxomatosis

Neutering in certain cases

Supply of repeat medications, workers and flea control.

Non-urgent problems are to be delayed until Coronavirus restrictions are relaxed.

The above list is not exhaustive so please contact us if you have any concerns about your pet’s health and we will see if we can help.

When we are closed our Emergency Service VetsNow is still available on 01376 530759.
